Your Questions, Answered

The practical details that make choosing easier.

A question before you choose?

Email support@velqari.store and we’ll help.

What is GlowCanvas, and what age is it for?

It is a 16-inch reusable drawing board that illuminates marker drawings. Children can draw or trace; families can use it for games and messages. Suggested for ages 4+ with adult supervision. Small parts: not for children under 3.

How do I get started and clean it afterwards?

First remove the protective film. Draw with the supplied markers, select a light effect and use the stand for display. To clean, lightly mist water, wait a moment and wipe gently with the soft cloth. Keep water away from electrical parts; do not immerse the board or use abrasive cleaners.

Where can I check delivery and returns?

Read our Shipping Policy for delivery information and our Returns & Refunds Policy for eligibility and instructions. Any applicable shipping charges are shown at checkout. Contact support@velqari.store for help with an order.

How do the lights, timer and markers work?

Choose from 9 light effects and 3 brightness levels. The auto-off timer ranges from 5 minutes to 12 hours. Light effects are separate from the 6 included marker colours. Use the supplied liquid chalk markers or compatible erasable markers for acrylic; avoid permanent markers.

How does charging work, and does it need an app?

Charge with the supplied USB-C cable; an adult should handle charging. The board can then light up without remaining plugged in. Battery duration varies with brightness and light effect. There is no app, Wi-Fi connection or subscription to set up.

1. Prepare your canvas

Charge the board and peel off the protective film before the first drawing.

2. Draw. Then light it up.

Trace a favourite picture or invent something new. Choose a glow for the reveal.

3. Put their art on display

Unfold the stand to show off the artwork. Set the auto-off timer if you wish.

And when inspiration changes…

Lightly mist, wait and wipe with the cloth. A fresh canvas for another day.

We made a silly family portrait first and the light-up reveal was the fun part. A lovely activity to do together at the table.

The timer is a useful extra when we leave a drawing on display. I like being able to choose when the light goes off.

Jessica Morgan

We use it for little notes as well as drawings. A funny message on the kitchen table makes an ordinary morning a bit more cheerful.

Holly Ward

We started with a challenge to draw everyone in the family. The results were very funny and it gave the gift a personal first use.

Alice Edwards

I keep the supplied markers in one place with the board. An adult helping with setup and cleanup makes it easier with younger children.

I keep the cloth beside the board so cleanup is part of the activity. A little water and a gentle wipe, then we can change the picture.

Hannah Wilson

2e took turns drawing something for everyone else to guess. A simple game, but it made a nice change for our family evening.

Poppy Clarke

We photograph the drawings we want to keep before wiping the board. That way there is room for a new idea without losing the favourites.

Isabella Reed

We made a welcome sign for a birthday, then changed it back to a drawing afterwards. I like that it has more than one use.

My daughter chose to draw a rainbow and write her name underneath. It is nice having something she can create herself and then display.

Zoe Phillips

I chose this as a birthday gift for a child who already loves drawing. I charged it first so we could try a picture together.

I like being able to move the finished drawing to another room after charging. I still check the battery before setting up an activity.

Ellie Hughes

I prefer a lower brightness for displaying a message. It is useful having a choice rather than a single light setting.

Lily Cooper

the tracing sheets gave us a starting point when we could not think of what to draw. We added our own little details afterwards.

Evie Turner

The tracing part was a good place to begin. We turned the finished picture into a little story, with plenty of help from a grown-up.

Daisy Morris

The built-in stand is handy once the drawing is finished. My child likes having the picture facing out on the desk.

Maisie Kelly

This would make a lovely Christmas activity for a child who enjoys crafts. I would set it up in advance and let them choose the first drawing.

Benjamin Walker

The gift is the board. The magic is what they make.

Wrap up an invitation to create this Christmas, or make a birthday a little brighter. From the first glowing doodle to a message made just for you, there is always another idea to try.
